I bought a Russian T03-99 a few yrs ago , I read a few posts here about them, but I have not really had the chance to shoot to much yet. I posted a question about adjusting the font sight a while ago, and now I finally found the rest of the tool kit that came with the rifle, and what I would like to know is what the first tool in the pic is used for ?

The pointed end is a scaper to clean out the crud inside the receiver and off the chamber face and the round end end is used flat against the back spring-loaded plug to depress it for disassembly.

Mine's has a broken firing pin assembly for months and no replacement in sight ... She's a good shooter though.

Ahhh great thank you. I knew someone here would know...funny how the nut who sold it to me at Armrus had no clue....he even went as far as telling me the front sight was not adjustable. No wonder he is no longer in business. To bad about no being able to get parts.
