TR rear peep sight

canuck4570,

You might want to give a call to the PQRA guys, chances are some of their members have a few extra sets they are willing to part with.

Heck, a friend of mine (who's with the PQRA) probably has a few "extra" rifles W/sights for sale... just add ammo and you're good to go!

peep sight

a little more precison on my quest
I should have said earlier
I have a TRG22 and have a NEAR 25 MOA picatinny rail on in
I don't want to take off the rail each time I want to shoot TR and have to put it back on for F competition
I know that Sinclair international seel Sentra sight that are made to go on a picatinny rail but Sinclair dos not ship to Canada
as for the front sight Sako makes a front base for Anschutz or Gheman sights
and Starling machine make one also that I could fit on the Sako
the only problem now is the rear peep
sorry about that will be more pricise next time don't like to waste your time
thank you.....

Sinclair DOES ship to Canada, I order from them 3-4 times a year. They just don't ship ammunition components, or some special items that would be considered TACTICAL, like ACOG sights.

Call Jocelyn at Cibles Canada Targets in Gatineau. He can order you the same Centra Long Range site that Sinclair sells. They're excellent units.

ha
on their site it say when you look at that peep sight under restriction
we do not ship sights to Canada
will have to give them a buzz

I disagree on the Warner, as it does have a Vernier scale. Beautifuly made though. Brindle and RPA are hard to beat and as mentioned, Centra and many use Central.

when you say I disagree because it is a vernier sight do you mean that there is a rules that forbid vernier sight in TR competitions.

The Warner with a vernier is a great sight, I helped design the vernier, they are the best there is. The sights made by RPA are good as well but since RPA is bankrupt I guess no sights from them. Remember that you still need a front (buy a Riles) and then you still need aperatures for both the front and back at over $100 each, contact Targets Canada for these.

The Warner did not have a vernier to start but because it is so well made you could still easily read it to a quarter minute. Many of those that grew up with a vernier (Commonwealth Shooters) could not figure this out so Warner decided to do a vernier model. Shooters in the USA are not used to verniers and are click counters with unlimited sighters. It is a big advantage to have an easy to read vernier on irons and in the end worth points (especially whe one is lost in the wind)!

RPA is alive and well and is currently supplying sights around the world and are used by the world championsip Palma team, as well as many others. Paul Reibin, Range Sports, stocks these.

Good to hear about Warner now having a vernier scale.

Many also consider Centra the very best.

Regards,

Peter
