tracers??

I have some 308 (7.62) ammo with red tips. Is this tracers? What is it worth?
I also have some white tip 303, again what & how much? Thanks to you ammo guys. AJ

The tracer isn't worth much more than ball ammo, imho.

The white tip .303 is most likely SabreTip which was a nylon tip hunting round designed to work in "rough military actions." I never had a problem with a lee enfield feeding SP commercial so I don't know why the SabreTips were ever brought out.

Especially after it was found to not expand well.

The ST is probably worth slightly less than whatever you would pay for commercial ammo in canadian tire. Again, in my humble opinion.

Is the .303 headstamp G4, G4Z, G6 or G6Z? With a red ring around the primer? If so, it's tracer.
