THANK A LOT
PO

I bought a Husky M96 in 6.5X55 from them awhile back, the ad said shootable dark bore and a small crack behind the tang..when I got it the crack is semi invisible , and the bore cleaned up very nice.it grouped at 1.2 inches with off the shelf dusty ammo .I'm currently working up loads for it ,For the Money (less then $300 shipped) I feel it was a great deal
and for the price I'd like one of those Baikal doubles aswell.

I have purchased several items from Tradeex and have been pleased - the product was as described. They will Email larger pics of the problem area / whatever you wish to see. I've never used it but look into their return policy if not satisfied. --- John303.

TradEx is good.

Email them and ask to see more pictures, or ask them for more info.

Sometimes it takes a day or two or three, but they have been good to me in our dealings.

Cheers

Tradex's descriptions are quite accurate. When he (Tony) says there's a crack, you can rest assured there's one crack and only one crack. You won't get an answer as to whether the crack is a serious issue or not, because nobody can answer such a question. After all, any crack can just as easily remain dormant or suddenly split the stock from end to end - nobody can predict what a crack will do in the future. You can ask for closeup images and decide for yourself if any defects reported in the description are serious.

I haven't seen any Baikals in Canada that were chambered in 2 1/2", but be aware that some of the older shotguns on Tradex's site are. 2 1/2" chambered guns will chamber a 2 3/4" shell. The problem is that a 2 3/4" shell is too long and the crimp ends up opening into the forcing cone area. This, in turn, causes a dangerous increase in pressure in a gun that may only have been proofed for black powder in the first place.

Proofed for nitro (smokeless) powder or not, 2 1/2" chambered guns were, for the most part, designed for pressures in the 5000 to 8500 psi range, as opposed to the 11,000 to 15,000 range that you will get from nitro game loads, or the even higher pressures that can result from chambering a 2 3/4 shell in a 2 1/2" chambered gun.

Tradeex always marks condition 1 notch below the real condition so you are IMO always pleasantly surprised.

The have great products and I have been doing business with them since I have known the owners.

I am a Tradeex distributor and they always back up their products.
