Trade Ex has Sig P 210s for $2200. It makes me cry because I can't afford it!

No handgun is worth $2,000.
That's because you never had a P210 in your hands. Took mine out to the club last night: it's everything they say it is: 31mm five shot group at 25 m with cheap Eagle ammo. Wait 'till I feed it with my precision hand loads. Love bites and all from the hammer. Rock solid, absolutely no slide play, awesome finish, stiff like new. I feel I'm the one doing the breaking in. This precious was built 50 years ago! I used to have wet dreams about a P210-5 (w/extended barrel/adj. sights; go try find one...). Not anymore: two of the 5 shots are 10s smack in the center. And these fixed sights are not going to move. So I immediately bought the second one from the same seller because I could not think of a better way to invest 2.2k$.

I've long since abandoned precision shooting with a handgun. It's a self-defence tool, nothing more. All I need is to hit my target at 5-7 yards without using the sights!
Still I understand the challenge and the good feeling that goes with great groups.;)

Buying a P210 is a bit like buying a nice Swiss Automatic watch...

There are cheaper option out there to give the time, but none will be as fun and fulfilling :)

Just sold mine a few months back... Yes, they are 'that' good... Only draw back is the price (and availability) of spare magazines.

I've got my P210 on the way from Switzerland (Just waiting on the stupid Canadian registration Certificate ). Mint condition. The bluing on the inside of the frame rails hasn't even started to wear. Only $1250 Canadian.... (PM's about export will go unanswered. When all is said and done I'll make a thread for everyone. And take some quality photographs. :D)

Any of you guys ever seen a "Korth" pistol?
If you think $2,200 is expensive, how does starting at $5,000 US sit with ya? :p

I passed up on a Korth that went for 600 Euros (930 Canadian.) You can easily get a very good to excellent condition Korth for around 1500 Canadian in Germany, plus export and all that.

The new ones start at 5 grand, but the used market is typically under 2k.

Trade Ex has again brought in some excellent condition Sig 210s for a mere $2200. They have already marked 3 of them as "on hold", so if you have $2200 burning a hole in your pocket, go for it. They will go fast.

They also have 1906/29 Swiss Lugers in excellent condition for $2300. I wish i could add one of these Lugers to My 210, but I shoot my guns often and I hear these lugers are very delicate to shoot and expensive to repair.

I still have on hand one P210

It's hard to see the drag line between safe and shooting position.

When you have a P210 in your hand, and when you rack back the slide, you feel it's not a crap.
