Tradeex turnaround time?

I have shopped there many times (many) and they have always, without fail, been up front and totally honest and the one time there was a little issue (which was likely my own fault) - they made it right.

I dont say it often about dealers (there are many good ones of course) - Tony and Anthony are top notch.

I ordered some brass from them-3 days later it was at my door all safe and sound :)
Very good customer service on the phone-short and to the point,no useless info needed or provided.

If it's a POS, I really doubt they'd show a VG description for it

non functioning saftey, scope holes misaligend and drilled into barrel etc etc......... I was shocked as well. this was a 300 dollar rifle.

In fact any of thier rifles become border line pricewise if you need to pay a smith to check headspace etc. I was a BIG proponent of thier 6.5 sporters but now feel abit emabarrassed to have been such a salesman for them. BTW everyone is capable of being a great guy when you are happy with them and sending them cash.

Yes, I agree with the fact that is you get something that was not what you really expected or represented to you.

I suppose with the guns I have bought from them, I was happy to find that gun model at all, and the price was a secondary (but important) consideration.

If I wanted the gun I bought to have say - no pits in the bbl - I asked and was told "some minor pits in the right bbl". Then I decided if it was worth it to me or not.

As always, communcation is all important, and they always communicate well with me.

I've been interested in many of their guns but haven't handed over my hard earned cash on many. I am not a fan of bubba, plus you need to determine if some of the obsolete calibres are worth it to you....then you need to fish through them to see if there is a decent one without cracks in the stocks (cracks turn me off immediately and it seems 60% of the guns have cracks)...If you dig and dig you might just find a gem. The service does seem to be good, at the same time I do believe that they make great coin on these guns, many I wouldn't take for free.

Sounds like you're not sure what you're talking about, particularly as you have never bought a rifle from them. From my extensive perusal of their site and having purchased from them and seen rifles that came from them, I feel pretty confident that the rifles in question haven't been "bubba'd". Their milsurp rifles appear to be intact and original, though some with sights removed to use different sights. Their sporters are what they say they are. Some have been drilled for side mounts or top mounts, but that's not exactly hacking a rifle up. Some do have cracked stocks, but if you know anything about Mausers (which it sounds like you don't) you'd know that unless they are relieved behind the tang, the stocks will crack. These cracks are a minor issue and can be repaired so as to be invisible. Or you could restock it as I did mine with either an aftermarket wood stock or synthetic. As well, the 6.5x55, 8x57, 9.3x57 and 9.3x62 are far from "obsolete" calibers. Sure, you won't find that ammo at Canadian Tire (though you may find 6.5 Swede there) but that hardly puts it on par with the 6.5 Lee Navy or 50-90 Sharps Straight.

Bottom line is that the rifles they sell (and I'm talking about are the used ones - new rifles are obviously equal wherever you buy them) are affordable and despite being used, still in very good conditions. If you consider clicking on a few links "digging and digging" then I'm not sure you have the stick-to-it-ness to actually carry one afield and pack out your kill.

Ted's just way nicer than I am. Maybe I'll mellow with age too. :D

Yes, I have bought guns from them.

One man's definition of Bubba can widely vary to the next man's.

I consider regularly searching there website for 3 years, digging and digging...But, Gun preference is a very personal thing. I highly value complete original condition and am only interested in sporting rifles and shotguns for hunting...this is just me, just my thing.

As the old saying goes - One man's junk is another man's treasure...and vice versa. I am not arguing or trying to be harsh, I am not calling anything junk...it is as the old saying goes...

Some love a certain gun, some wouldn't take it for free....preference and opinion, free world.

I could call this a "niche market", but I won't.

Nice to deal with

I just bought a Moisin Nagant 91/30. I spoke to Tony as his son was away and he wasn't computer savy to have taken my e mail order. Very nice gentleman. I was quite surprised when I received the rifle. It was refurbished, but in WAY better condition than I expected it to be. I am quite satisfied.
