Hello ladies and gents I've been here awhile and I know I should know this so I appologize up front. I have had 2 trades both last year however I have no trader rating I was wondering if someone with more experience could lay it out for me in laymans terms, I would appreciate it.
 
When you make a deal, both the buyer and seller rate each other in broad strokes as to how the deal went down. That rating is your Trader Rating, and is meant to give you raport with future deals, or warn others of bad dealing.
The people you traded with should have given you a rating (and you them), but they didn't; hence you have no ratings. I try to make it a habit to send the person I just dealt with a polite and friendly reminder if I haven't seen anything within 5 days of the transaction or my feedback to them whichever comes first.
 
a few things could be the issue 1, the person you dealt with is lazy or busy & forgot to leave some with you or 2, they are waiting for you to place feedback first. 3, they just don't care.

I sometimes forget or sometimes I wait for others to respond to a transaction first. I have more then 100 deals on CGN but not everyone posts feedback.

Feedback does help when trading goods, I will tend to shy away from a person who doesn't only to save myself from getting burned. But this also does mean I miss out in a super deal by passing on it.
