traditions breech plug for black horn 209

i have a tradition in line black powder rifle and have misfires with bh 209.
does the one piece thunder dome plug be o.k.?
up to now i have good ignition by putting 10 grains of pyrodex before adding the bh209.
excellent ignition with pyrodex ,triple 7 ,clearshot,.
misfire only with bh 209.
someone tried the one piece breech plug?

to petew ,you are absolutely right,but i like to try all i can,
i always had excellent service with purodex and triple seven ,please did you try black mz by alliant?

I shoot Flinters and Sidelock Percussion caps and only use Goex real black powder. It is the reliable one, that's why they coat pellets with it, so they will fire.
