Traditions Tracker 209 ML????????

A day late and short a dollar LOL My Traditions Tracker E-209 will put 3 shots inside 3/4". I use homecast 466gr lead conicals(466.0gr to 466.3gr to be exacting) sized to .451", with a weighed volumetric charge (100gr volume, 73.3gr weighed) of FFFT7 with Nosler Sabots. Last group I shot with that load was 2 cutting each other and the last one about 1/2" away at the 11 o'clock position......Now to try this load in the T/C 209x50 that I got from the states cheaper than S.I.R.

What the hell - buy it! Shoot it! If you don't like it, sell it! I have a CVA buckhorn - same $hit, different pile. I can't place three shot's inside a loonie at 100 yards....so I don't hunt loonies. Keep your shots under 100. A 4" group at 100 is still lethal. Have the trick is finding a powder bullet combo that your particular gun likes. The Thompsons, Knights, etc aren't as fussy...thats why you pay the big buck$.

A lot of lever action centerfire rifles can't group under 1.5 - 2" consistantly. Some NEVER will even with the advantages of handloads.

Don't get hung up on it. Stay young, have fun, make smoke.

Hakx
