I picked up a Moultrie digital gamecam last month. It's a great cam for the price ($100 US). I just took it out of the bush Sunday. There's quite a variety of animals in my little honey hole. :D Too bad they are mostly nocturnal. Here are some of the pics. Enjoy.

how cold does it get where you are? i've brought my camera in because of the cold, i've heard it doesnt take pics below -5C. Its suppost to be pretty mild this week I should put it out again.

It's a Moultrie Game Spy. 4.1 MP with removeable SD cards (up to 4GB). It's got a laser aim, PIR aim, video mode (wich changes to still mode after dark), it can be used as a hand cam, is easy to program and has a USB 2.0 port as well. I paid $100 US at the time, (about $96 CDN) at the Wal Mart in NY state. They also carry a Bushnell IR cam (no flash) for $150 US. I'll probably go back and pick up that one next. So far the coldest it's been here was -20 deg C (-30 C with windchill). No issues so far, but I don't expect any. I haven't taken any scenery shots either, just a few of the "tail ends" as my cam was only 15 feet from the trail set at a 45 deg angle. I'm still experimenting with it. It was out in +6 to -20 deg weather for almost 5 weeks and the 6 "D" cell batteries were still at 50% capacity, which is a major improvement over my old 35mm cam. It ran on 8 AA batteries and only lasted 2 weeks in the cold. It's definitely worth the money.
