There are lot of trail cams and every manufacturer is coming out with their newest latest greatest .... wireles etc but ...

What you are using that you are pleased with or what do you wished you had purchased instead - ie features. Most of the info in this section is a few years old and there have been a lot of advancements since then so wondering what brands/models you have had good or bad experience with.

Well I pulled the trigger on 2 Solar Spypoint 12 mp trail cams. Will let you know how well they work once I get them in the field for a while. Nice thing is I can leave them for 2 months and the solar will keep the battery charged

I use a Spypoint Force 11D bought on a sale last year and for the money I paid it's a winner. IMO, very good battery life (more than 1000 pics and 300 vids in over 4 month of daily recordings and first batteries are still at 40%) decent quality day/night vids/pics (vids with audio) and reliable function in rain, snow, cold and hot temps.

Spypoint Force 10 and another smaller Spypoint that came out last year, sorry don't remember the model. A friend had his Force 10 at camp in Northern Ontario all winter, from Nov till May. As above, more than 1000 pics, lasted the winter, still going when we retrieved it. Decent pics, good battery life, good unit.
