I went out to the bush this morning, retrieved a trail cam memory card, and had a little calling session with a pack of wolves.
Didn't get them to come in though.

It was FROSTY this morning!!

Here's pics of a buck I call 'Dagger', cuz of his right brow tine. I've got 3 years worth of pics of this buck.
When I first saw this buck on the camera, that brow tine was kinda bladed, and he only had 2 points on the right side.
Now that brow tine is forking, and quite a bit bigger & longer.

He's gained in spread, mass and tine length. He's getting to be a pretty decent size. Another year and he could be a shooter.

He's travelling with a young buck that looks like he will be a non-typical, as he gets some age.

Another nice young up-and-comer...

I gotta look through the pics on this memory card and see if there's any other worthwhile pics.

Here's that young non-typical again; before and after shedding the velvet... 2 days apart.

Another picture of Dagger. He's got a small point growing off the base of the right brow tine.

This guy looks like he might be Son-of-Dagger...
