Trail Camera Reader?

I've searched this forum and didn't find an answer, so forgive me if I"m beating a dead horse. We're leaving in less than 30 days and I just thought of this(everyone can slap their forehead now)

Am I correct in assuming if you purchase a game camera you also need to purchase a "reader" so you can see the pics if you don't have a computor within 5 hrs?

Or is there a moderately priced camera you can actually view, in the field?

From what (admitidly little) I"ve looked around it appears the most affordable would be a Moultrie camera (+-70), and a Moultrie reader (+-80) as a minimum investment?

if there is a memory card in the camera just bring a Digital camera.? Thats what I do when i go check mine. Although my ScoutGuard has a read but it takes forever to skip through pics.

Wow, thanks, I never would have thought of that. I'm admitidly not very tech savy. I'll ask my son if my digital will do that. Quite frankly I don't know.

my garmin 255 gps will give a slide show of the pics on a card also
