Trailcams in the $200 or less category?

Looking to get into my first trailcam in the $200 or less range.

Wanting to hear of first hand experience (good or bad) and also recommendations on best place to purchase (prefer within Canada but US is doable as well). (READ: Cheapest prices :))

The Moultrie M100 and the Bushnell Trophy Cam (Brown Case) are $220 at WSS right now and able to be picked up locally..Bushnell Trophy Cam Camo is $160....any thoughts on these 3 particular models? Battery life, Pic Quality, Trigger and Recovery times would be highest priority guess.

Any other recommendations in a lower price range (best bang for buck....no pun intended :D)
 
I've actually had pretty good luck with my WildGame cams, they are definately not the fastest, but they have taken pretty decent pics and have pretty good battery life.

The D-55IRXT Moultrie Game Spy Digital Trail Deer Camera 5.0MP Infrared is available on EBay for about $100 delivered. Anyone using these?
 
Ive had a ton of them and Spy points are some of the best for the dollar. I will say becarefull with Black Flash I'm not yet sold on it. The rest work easy and has all the pros of a great camera...
 
I had StealthCam's that took C batteries & they always crapped out as soon as it got cold. Battery life was terrible as well, even when it was warm.

I then switched to SpyPoint IR6 cameras & they take AA batteries. With Lithium Advanced batteries I have captured pics down to -17 and the batteries lasted the full season.

There is a HUGE difference in battery life between the Lithium & any of the others. I recommend Lithium batteries all the way! Which for trailcams means they have to take AA batteries...

I have a 1 year old wild game that I thought was great, now it won't save any pictures to the sc card, so I'm done with them. I have 2 bushnell trophy cams and they are awesome for battery life, 6 months in warmer weather, 2+ months when it's cold. Easy to use, good size, aa batteries. One of my cameras gets about 10000 pics a week, no problem!
 
I've got a D-55IR that I paid $130 for at wal mart about this time last year. It's been great to me. I've had it out since July and I'm still on the same set of batteries. It's been taking videos since September, and the video resolution leaves something to be desired. When I moved it 2 weeks ago the batteries were at 71%. When I'm out for deer this week, I'll probably pull it in.

Very happy with my Moultrie M-100. It has decent battery life, good picture quality, fast recovery time. My Spypoint IR-6 sucks, horrible picture quality, otherwise OK.
