Transfer is approved. When will it be shipped?

I recently bought my first handgun online and I was told by the Rcmp the transfer was approved may 25th. The problem I have is that it hasn't been shipped yet. I was told by the store they haven't been informed the transfer was done, and I told them that it was approved on the 25th. They said that they would check if it was approved.

This was a few days ago but still it has not been sent out. I have worked shipping and almost a week seems like a long time for a product ready to go to be sitting there. Is this bad service? Or am I being impatient and this is to be expected?
 
All the store had to do is to call in and find out if you were correct. That should take them the time it takes to make a phone call.
