Transfer is with the Province (Ontario)

Should the phone calls go to the CFC 1-800 number, or should I be calling the Ontario CFO directly. If it's the CFO - does anyone happen to have the number to call?

call the CFC directly at the 1-800, go through the options until you reach someone who's in charge of the registration. Once you talk to that person, explain to him/her you've been told your transfer is now with the CFO of your province and that you need to talk to them directly. She'll transfer you on the spot.

I just called the regular CFC number then asked to be transfered to the Alberta CFO. In your case ask to be transfered to your provinces CFO, but i will say the wait times on hold were longer.

thats BS, i always call the CFO directly for restricted gun transfers, just to "make sure they have everything in hand and to know if i can do anything to make their job easier".

I get all my stuff in the mail 2-3 days later. Max.

And i'm in Quebec.

Funny how being polite and accomodating can go a long way. I guess not everyone gets that...

Personally, and this isn't related to an ATT, but when it came to getting my application through quicker etc. the only reason even with the 7 week backlog (for FSESO approvals in Ontario) I was able to get my new RPAL(in 1.5months) is because I called to see who it was, what there extension was and phoned it right away.

I had like 20 restricted at one point, it still took over a week at some point to approve the transfer for the 21st, and then the same stupid questions all over again, what a waste of resources. You have to hold back and not be ironic on the phone,

Depends where you are I guess
