What is the current procedure to sell a shotgun. Do I have to verify the buyers Pal. If so exactly what info do I have to give when I call it in.
Thanks
Rob
There should be 100% non complaisance to this ridicules piece of legislation but being good Canadians we are doing as we are told no disrespect to you robchar just a comment

Yup. Remember when you could just walk into a store, show the kid at the sports desk your pal and they go unlock the ammo case for you? Didnt need to go on a computer or call in your pal to verify because the guy looked at your card.
I Remember when it was 50 cents a gallon. Geeze I gotta get out of the wayback machine.
Was at bass pro the other day as they were getting ready to close. The guys at the gun counter have to move every gun from the display rack and place them on a rack thats on a trolley and wheel them to a back room. It’s ridiculous! Every morning and every night, those guns get taken for a walk. We’re not talking about a couple dozen guns either. There has to be over 100 guns on display that go back and forth twice a day.
It took 7 dollars to fill the gas tank on my first pickup truck.
Remember when gas was 89 cents a liter ?
Can Tire used to have the guns in the open with a single cable running through the entire line of trigger guards. You could get a close up look at the display guns, and picked ammo off the shelf yourself.
Real gun stores would often have used long guns in the open for customers to pick up to get a good look.
Don’t be fooled into thinking that things were always the way and it is now and that the world would end if it was different.
Great story. The OP was asking about selling a shotgun.
