Transfers in person?

Hey i have only ever bought rifles from the store!

my question is my uncle is going to sell me two rifles and we are going to get them transfered into my name. If we are both at his house and call the CFC to do the Transfers. How long do i have to wait tell i can take them home??

I live about 4hrs away and we dont want to ship them!

They should clear and transfer right then and there over the phone,just ask for the new cerification # and write them down. You'll be good to go. Cheers.
