Trap shells

Talking to some shooters at skeet yesterday, they have a deal with one of the sporting clays clubs, for 60 flats, and the delivery day was just pushed from April to May at the earliest.

What happened to Superior munitions in Edmonton ? We use many years ago buy hard shot and nickel plated shot cheaper than we could buy it from our local manufacture and they are only 35 KM away from where I live in Ontario. We pay Approx $68 for Lawrence hard shot $62 for soft , Hummason $60 and Eagle $55 . Can't imagine shipping that stuff today.

Canadian Superior closed their doors years ago. It was a good local source for shells and shot while in operation. I think back to the prices they charged and it seems like a dream now.

I still have Nickle and hard lead bags . The stuff was good quality and easy on the pocket book . CIL was also a good source of quality components , powder and ammo.

They shut down many years ago, I still find some of their shot now and then, the last 20 bags that I loaded were their shot, but I ran out,and am back to Hummason for now.
