Trap shooting with the 410 bore. A must try

I've got a couple of decent .410's. My mint .410 Remington 870 Wingmaster with a fixed Mod choke can break clays, and knock down pheasants/grouse a surprisingly long way out there. My Browning 725 Sporter .410 has changeable chokes of course and I use the Sk/I/C combo for all my skeet shooting now, and that is a perfect combo for that. On the Sporting Clays range with the .410 I normally use the Mod/Imp Mod combo, but will change them up as required. A couple of pellets from a .410 breaks the clays just as hard as a couple of pellets from a 12 ga or otherwise. The shot string is a bit different, that's the main difference, along with not quite so many pellets in the pattern out there.

We drove up to our club yesterday and shot 4 rds of skeet. Snow squalls and wind, but when you drive 1.75 hrs one way...I'm gonna shoot some !

Two of our buds that were therre, had their 410 (tubes in) Ben's first time ever shooting 410 for skeet. He was using a borrowed 410 on the skeet course...shot a 21 !
Beat my first round of 20..lol I put my Imp Mod and my Mod chokes in to try and tighten up my shooting. More inkballs, but still a few misses and chippits..LOL All in all, still a great day to sniff some powder amid the flurries !!
