agreed, with above statment. buy once and cry once. went from a citori GTI, (thought a new gun would make me a better shooter)to a remington 1100 comp wood stock, (beauty of a gun) its starting to show some wear probably has 10,000 targets through it. into a 725 browning and just got rid of it and went into a krieghoff, if knowing i would have stuck with it i should have just bought the k gun at the beginning and saved the money from the others. I thought the browning was a beautiful gun until i fell the triggers on the krieghoff and knew i was in love, i only have about 500 targets through this gun, i am afraid if i was to re sell down the road it might take a while to get it gone as the market is not huge.
I bought both my Perazzis for under 3000.00. If you buy a higher end gun you can buy used and get a lot more use out of it. They are almost infinitely rebuildable too.
I agree I should have kept the gti was a nice gun. The k80 was not priced horrible at all I paid 7k for it from a gentleman at my local club. Cheaper than a used Honda! I do still have the 1100 and would not change it. Sure it's starting to wear but they are truly a great gun. It all comes down to budget really and how much OP is willing to spendA K80 is a little much for a starter, just should have skipped the 1100 and 725. The early GTI’s with the invector barrels were nice feeling Sporters. Seemed to me the invector plus version felt barrel heavy.
