Dunno if it was a instore special or canada wide but I just nabbed a 320.00 2 man rivers edge for 127.00.
Smoking deal. They had stack on gun cabinets, tree stands and ground blinds marked down huge (surrey/whalley store, BC)

here's a pic of the receipt for those who want to try and get the same deal elsewhere ;)

I picked up a river edge 1 man tree stand just before Xmas for $79.99 and think they were reg $260ish.Old stock as all the boxes were a mess being ripped,etc.Good deal though !
 
I found out that although CDN Tire sales vary store-to-store, any store will price-match another store on an in-stock item (or atleast they will within a specific region).

So if your local store has a Widget for $20 that your buddy scored for $9.99 on sale across town, you can bring it to customer service and ask for a price-match -- their software will show the item prices at each location, and they will match the lowest sale price.

Minus your personal details of course so we could use that to price check at another store
I have checked your store online and they list them at full price

Amherstburgs store owner will attempt to price match anyone. If you don't like a price...he will always see what he can do to help, his managers will do the same just not to the extent which he can.
 
Stopped by the Whalley Canadian Tire on my way back from work tonight and nothing was on sale. Must have been a one day thing or something?!
 
I live 5 hours north of the store I bought it at. no Canadian tire or wally marts anywhere close to here. so last fall I was in the same store I got this treestand at but in that case was looking for a certain set of deep impact sockets. to my dismay, the 70% sale on the set I was after ended the week before. So the manager of that department told me , he would honor the price from the sale because I asked ;)
so a few weeks later I was in the Kamloops Canadian tire and noticed from an old add that they had a tire sale that ended the week before. I hit up the manager, asked him about the "30 day sales price , after the sale policy" and lo and behold, I got my 31" goodyear territory tires for 30% off and mounted for free :)

I'd go back to the store bcsteve and see if they have any in stock hehehe

He actually said "if we do, I would own one" but he looked it up on the computer and found that this store didnt have them, BUT the store in St. Catharins had 2 of them with a regular price of $319.99 on sale for $127.99

I called that store and had them put both aside for me, they are now in my possesion LOL. The item # for anyone wanting to call around and find one was 75-5599 Rivers Edge 2 man stand.
