I'm not sure if this is a repost, but as of July 1, Saskatchewan has trespassing laws in place. If the land is posted, or if you've been told to stay off, it can cost you up to $2000 if caught trespassing.

Saskatchewan would have already had trespassing law by virtue of the common law (albeit without much teeth), but I guess they've now passed petty trespass legislation in the Saskatchewan Trespass to Property Act. Congrats for joining the 21st century! :p

I was able to get a copy of the act earlier this spring.Section 17 states THIS ACT DOES NOT APPLY TO:peace officers, firefighters, paramedics, etc.I wont go on as you can see where its going.Part (d) of sec. 17 says "individuals engaged in lawful huntin, fishing and trapping. As 2fat indicated if the land is posted or you have been told to stay off charges can be laid, otherwise not much has changed.
