Does trgs and sold with plastic hard case or do they come in cardboard boxes ?

It has been so long I can remember. I have seen them with a hard case and without. It may be an option.

My TRG42 came in a Sako plastic hard case. But I bought it new this year, I can't speak of how they were shipped in previous years.

I'm questioning cause I bought mine in the PA state and it went to AZ before crossing the border up north and then will be shipped here in QC.
Just wondering if the box would held up.
