I just received a Nikon spotting scope in the mail today from Camera Land. It will be mainly used at the range but could be used for some nature work. I am looking for a decent quality tripod that I could use off a bench but maybe have abit of extension. I don't want to spent alot of money but don't want a piece of junk either.
Just suppose, although not likely I wanted to go sheep or goat hunting what would be the preferred height, it is a straight scope? Thanks for your help. Cheers Roscoe
