I own aRuger 10/22, I use it alot but its completely stock. I wanna trick it out and so far I've only order a Tapco stock. I am looking at getting a muzzle break from Marstar and and some fiber optic iron sites off of cheaper then dirt. I still am looking for a good extended mag.....any idea where to get a good one? One with steel feed lips?
Any other suggestions towards tricking out my ruger?

Thanks

Shooter's Choice in Waterloo has em, but I think the steel lips are close to $50

Gobles might have some, but I find they're inventory levels can be spotty. A site sponsor might be the best way to go, or I have also ordered some 10/22 accessories from Russell Sports, always been really happy with their service and prices.

just gave gobles a call and they have some BC steel liped mags in :):). Lil more pricey then I thought($51.00) but hell its worth it:p and they gave me a deal on buying my 10/22 so I okay with that

Hey Ranger
check out rimfire sports dot com, I ordered nik naks from there 2 times. Free shipping and good customer service. BC hotlips are $39 at wss here in AB a few months ago, If you buy some get a couple extra. Rumor is that there not going to be making them much longer. I picked up 5 and put two of them away for safe keeping.:D

I shall look at that. I am against hot-lips mags tho......they are cheaper to buy but they have way more issues with cracking, not feeding ect I hear ALOT.

Hammer and Sear kit from Power Custom or Valquartson are nice upgrades. I'd do or buy the auto bolt release. An enhanced mag release button is a good idea as well. You can buy or make one.

The costs of upgrading and keeping a 10/22 fed seem to have spiked artifically as of late....:(....and, sadly, in the firearms world, what goes up.............keeps on going up....

Well if I could afford an AR15 plus feed it I'd leave my 10/22 stock but its my only gun I can afford to shoot alot cheaply and somewhat cheaply upgrade. my next buy is gonna be an SKS...hopfully a Yugo or Russain, thats not to bad of a gun to feed and upgrade either.

There are many parts you can put on a 10/22, but the one part that I think makes the biggest difference is an extended magazine release.

I am just gonna mod mine to make it longer. Does anyone have any issues with shipping gun parts from the states? ie. a tapco stock with ajustable butt and new irons?
