Let's see... ON ATTs are issued by the ON CFO; QC by QC CFO; NB by NB CFO; NF by NF CFO; NS by NS CFO; PEI by PEI CFO. West of ON, NT and NU are administered separately, because those gov'ts did no agree to operate the CFO function. ATTs are issued according to the policies established in each region. Western Canada probably has the best regime for ATT issue, Quebc probably the worst.
If the longarm registry is terminated, and now that POLs are free, I wonder if the GNWT will drop its objections to the system, and set up its own CFO? Obviously the GNWT is very responsive to aboriginal hunting concerns. I wonder how sympathetic the aboriginal majority gov't. will be to the interests of recreational restricted/prohibited firearm shooters?
