tried to install a wooden lower handguard onto a CZH2003 Sporter

hi guys,

i tried to install a wooden lower handguard onto a CZH2003 Sporter, but failed. the hole on the handguard just wouldn't line up with the holes on the receiver. i trimmed the wooden lower handguard no matter how, and it still didn't line up.

any idea guys?

Got any pics? Might need to trim a bit off length on the front end to get it ahead far enough? Impossible to say with out seeing it

If it's one of the NOS ones floating around, I had to do minor fitting to get mine to fit. I scraped wood off the ends with a knife then sanded repeatedly before it would fit. I bought a used set of wood off Ebay and it fit without any trouble as it had already been on a rifle. This is normal and most likely not something different about your rifle, these wood pieces just need to fitted.
