Son has a new T3X 30-06 and the trigger is a little heavier than his T3 6.5x55.Did they change the trigger on these new models? On the older version you just backed out the set screw to the larger screw that holds the trigger to the action for about 2 lbs. Will set it to about 3 lbs then see how it likes 150gr TTSX.The new Barnes data leaves out most of the classic powders for the 30-06.I thought I'd run some RE#19.I have IMR 4350,IMR 4831,H4831,RE#15 + RE#22.Harold

Never mind figured it out myself. T25 torx for the action screws and 2.5mm for the trigger adjustment screw.Just trying to save time.....both set at 32oz much nicer......Harold

Tikka seems to be a little inconsistent on minimum trigger pull (although i know a couple ways to 'fix' them).
My T3 Tactical goes down to 2.25#
My wife's T3 Varmint goes down to 2.88#
My buddy's T3X Tactical goes down to 1.5#

Malice, Can you elaborate on the ways you use to "fix" the "inconsistent minimum trigger pull"?

I know a lighter spring helps, but what else have you found works? I've got a few T3s in the 16 to 24 oz trigger pull range (before anybody decides to give the "unsafe lecture": these are only used for target shooting, not hunting, they all pass the butt-bump test), but they vary by as much as 3 oz from trigger pull to trigger pull.

Thanks for any insights.
