trigger group/305 norinco

I often rebuild norinco triggers using M1 garand hammers and trigger/sear assemblies or genuine usgi m14 stuff when availlable. can be found on ebay at times. can be imported from sellers in italy.... not sure these days on garand parts from u.s ....

most norc triggers can be tuned to clean 2 stage and pull set 5 to 5.5 lbs , which for our purposes is considered match grade. U.S. armourers set them as low as 4.5 lbs but is not recommended on civillian rifles that lack a full service armourers skills and spare parts bin :D
under 4.5 lbs is considered unsafe in any m14.
most unmodified norcs i see on my bench are breaking at 6 lbs + or thereabouts. The new polytechs... about the same but the triggers feel smoother. I've serviced one now that had some serious creep, but the other dozen or so needed no alerations.

match triggers from smith enterprise or springfield amoury may be obtainable, but expect to pay an uncomfortably large wad of cash to either get one imported or buy one from someone who has a spare ;)

Even a 5 pound trigger can get exciting on a bench until you learn to use it properly. Failing to follow through can cause doubling under recoil.
Smith Enterprise does sell a 4.5 lb trigger for a reasonable price. $125US. However, it'd require the U.S. export permit. Don't know and their site doesn't say, if they ship to Canada. If they do, it'll most likely require fitting to an M305.

Ron won't ship the complete trigger kit but if you send him your's he will trick it out for ya if you don't mind having to go down south to pick it up. So I would rather have M14Doctor or Hungry work it over before going threw that hassle again!
