trigger group compatibility Husky 46

Does anyone know if a standard 2 stage military trigger for a M96 Swedish Mauser will fit in a Husky 46, which is based on a M96 action. My sense is that it will, but does anyone know for a fact whether it does?

Yep, that's usually what I install in the ones I get as I prefer a 2 stage trigger.
May require some cocking piece tweeking for the safety to engage, but usually very little.

Yes, it will fit but depending on your preferences it may require some small adjustment. Original factory machining was not consistently dimensionally accurate by modern standards and so 96s had to be hand fitted....hence all the fuss about "matching numbers." (The early Oberndorf and Carl Gustav versions more so than the later Husqvarna production.) But if you have enough spare 96 parts (triggers, cocking pieces, safeties, etc.) you can usually mix and match until you find a combo that works smoothly and safely.
