Trigger Identification help

Hello All,

I am having a little bit of trouble identifying who may have made this trigger, I have not seen these stamps on any other trigger yet. It came off a Garand, but maybe it was once on an m14 or m1a? maybe "S" is the first letter of the manufacturer and " 84 " is the year?any thoughts or suggestions would be great. this was also posted over at m14forum

I've had a few, always thought that it was springfield and perhaps a lot number?

'84' would not be a year for any issue M1 Rifle or M-14 part. Issue parts didn't have markings like that anyway. SA Inc. doesn't seem to publish their production dates, but it could be from either an M1A or one of their M1 Rifle copies.
