Hey guys, need help of the guru's! We've had a model 60 since we were young, passed down from our dad, and posibly even his. We mounted a bushnell 3-9x40 on it last year, and the pest population on the farm has hit it a devastating low. I've started getting into target shooting a bit and was wondering about trigger jobs. Anyone got any info that would be usefull?
I have tried the search function and it didn't come up with much, so any help someone has is great.

I just tuned the trigger on one of my 60s and got it down to just under 2lbs from 5.5lb. It's not amazingly 'creep free' or anything, but still a heck of a lot better than it was. I'll make a little demo movie and post it here in the near future. I'm going to see about tuning the trigger in my 64b semi too.

yeah, I suggested to him that we take it all apart and have a look at what could be done. Ever since I got my savage he and I have been doing lots of plinking, and anything to free up the trigger is nice.

I did a brief search over the net on trigger jobs for him (and I'm pretty good at finding things) but turned up short. I'll still look around some more, but any insight from fellow plinkers and cooey owners from the forums I'm sure he'll more then appreciate.
