Trigger locks...

I bought some "The Club" model trigger locks that are thinner than the Master's. I like them better. North Trail Sports carries a series of internal gun locks... haven't tried these but seem interesting.

The Omega Safety Locks from NorthTrailSports are the best. I bought one a couple of months ago to see how they were and was very impressed. I will be buying more eventually.

Good to know that they are highly regarded... might be my next purchase if they get 9mm, 40 S&W and 45acp in stock.

Agreed! I have a a bunch and they're second to none! I've heard people say they're concerned about scratches, but it's highly unlikely! Also you can get them from a bunch of places, including Omega's website...

Be careful with trigger locks. Fit is so poor it takes very little effort, IF accidentily chambered, that one

firearm could potentially go "bang". I been going back to cable locks.

The entire situation you describe is the result of stupidity on the users part. Trigger locks prevent NOTHING nor do they induce anything.

OH, and what happened to rule #2 "Never point a firearm at anything you do not wish/intend to destroy." You know, like your hand which you must place in front of the muzzle to both install and remove the above lock.

Don't hold back...

Say dumb things and you should expect to be chastised for it. How in the f**k do you "accidentally" chamber a round with a trigger lock installed? Do you not remove the locks as your first step when arriving at the range? And explain how the trigger lock is to depress the trigger if it isn't influenced, you know, MOVED by hand. And have we forgotten about rule #2??

My first step is hearing protection, but that's just me...

What kind of trigger locks do the gangstas and gang-bangers use? Must be a type very easily and quickly removed ......
