trigger pin

Hey guys - I did a quick search on anti-walk pins - just to get an idea - but people are pretty amibivalent about their usefulness.

I just built my first AR - with a basic RRA trigger kit & am in the process of smoothing the trigger out a bit via the "Hungry/TimK" method - watching TV with the lower while cocking the hammer & pulling the trigger- repeatedly

The trigger pin keeps walking out - completely after only about 20 cycles - and I have to line it up with the hole & push it back into place.

Any idea why this is happening?

Check your instructions again. Sounds like your springs are not installed correctly. The spring tails act as keepers for the pins.

^^^ This will be your problem.

Although it is possible to have an oversize pivot hole from very high round count with no lubrication, or poor reaming of the hole, or a soft cast lower.
