Hey, I just saw this write up in Caliber about a Canadian company producing R700 triggers. Seems to be a pretty cool idea. I checked out the website and it says something about working with PGW on them so Im not sure if this is the trigger in the PGW rifles or not.

Canada Ammo is listed as a distributor. Gonna order one to give it a shot.

Sounds like a way to get around the Jewell patent. Same idea in a meaningfully different package. Interesting especially at this price. Ill buy one.

I called in to order one, and it sounds like a 3oz - 3lb model is in the works as well. Gotta call Canada Ammo and order one up for my hunting rifle and see how it pans out. If it is a good as it sounds, no more $300 Jewels and Timneys for me!!

Looking forward to testing one out.

WAIT! 3oz-3lb? Cheaper than a Calvin Elite? Made in Canada? Am I dreaming? Pinch me and take my money NOW!!!

Edit: Just noticed the future projects inc an adjustable single stage AR trigger. 2-5lb would be nice for my DMR build. :)

btw, a 2-stage trigger for the Sako Quad (think its the same as the Tikka T3) would sell like hotcakes down in the US. I'd take one of those too!

GP tactical on this forum has a thread running for a prebuy, I've taken the leap and paid for my spot, I'm very interested to try this trigger out. I know the guys at PGW, and they don't screw around with subpar products with their rifles, so that is a huge vote of confidence for these triggers to me.

What triggers is PGW using with their rifles at present?

When are they switching to these new trigger tech triggers?
