So after much debate and earning a youtube masters degree on AR-15 triggers I went with a Trigger Tech curved trigger.

I shot 150 rounds with the new trigger installed and I have not one complaint, it is truly amazing.

You can adjust the trigger pull weight from 2-5 pounds which is a cool option I thought. As a machinist/toolmaker by trade I must say the fit and finish on this piece of art is outstanding.

I know there are many options out there for the AR platform and I know there is not a whole lot out there on this trigger compared to other brands but I would highly recommend this drop in trigger to anyone. Feel free to ask any questions if you are curious about the trigger or are in debate like I was.

This is good to read. I have one going on my precision build, have always gone with Geisselle in the past. I like the price point of the Trigger Tech much better and the fact that it's adjustable. From just playing around with it I a certain I will love it!

I've had the Triggertech trigger in two of my AR type rifles and I absolutely love them. I have another rifle with a timney and it is not as crisp and 100$ more expensive.
Fantastic triggers get them while they are reasonably priced. Canadian company as well!

The Trigger Tech (TT) AR-15 drop-in is truly outstanding. The Rem 700 version is equally excellent for a precision build or just tuning up a Rem 700 hunting rifle. I have 6 Geiselle triggers (including ACR and Tavor), and they have nothing on the TT trigger. As stated, the adjustability is a major plus for the TT. Oh yeah - it is also Canadian designed and manufactured! What's not to like?

I'm using TT on my two Remington 700's. Absolutely love them. I was using the same triggers in my previous two builds. Between switching rifles, bedding, and general maintenance I've taken then in and out several times without any problems. No stupid spring that falls out. Being sealed units is great too, don't have to worry about oil and solvent making a mess in there.

I have Trigger Tech triggers in both my AR's, picked up another for the AR I sold to my buddy told him it was a mush have lol, and going to put one in the Rem 700 I have on the way to me.

Used one on a rifle buddy had at the range. It's really interesting, thinking about getting one myself. Although I kind of prefer two stage triggers, which is probably weird.

lone, technically TriggerTech advertises their AR15 trigger as a two stage. It is like the AR Gold two stage in that it has a super light first stage, then hits a wall and breaks. Personally I'd describe both as having pre-travel / takeup but some people seem to like that. And I'm liking my TriggerTech, coming from a CMC which had _zero_ takeup and similar break weight (CMC has mushier reset is the other big diff).

The weightless takeup is one of the features I liked the most about this trigger. The reset is only like .030 and its sharp with a nice audible click, great for bench shooting. If the straight trigger ever becomes available again I think I will buy one, I mean it would take all of two minutes to swap the trigger out at the range. I was debating buying an elftman I thought the technology was pretty smart but couldn't justify spending that much.

I bought one recently on the last sale Canada Ammo had

Haven't got around to installing it yet but its a thing of beauty and every review I`ve heard has been very good

I'm wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I have 2 Trigger Tech triggers installed into AR15s. The trigger pull is amazing. I'm used to a bit more forceful reset but I can adapt to this.

However, I have found that if you squeeze the trigger hard enough when the gun is on safe, the trigger will trip but the hammer doesn't fall until you take it off safe. Then it will instantly fire without trigger input. I've brought up the pull weight from the factory setting and it still does this.

Anyone else experiencing this or can shed some light on the situation?

What brand lowers do you have them in? I just went and checked two I have one in a Bushmaster and one in a Spikes and can't get them to trip with the safety on, have another that will be going in a Stag that I sold a buddy but it's not installed yet, I squeezed hard too, also both of mine are adjusted down to 2lbs.

When you installed them did you have them cocked with the safety selector in between safe and fire when you tightened the set screws? That's how I installed mine, not sure if it makes a difference or not just did because that was the position that there was no interference with the trigger when inserting the selector switch.

There are two snug-up screws on the trigger assembly. Try tightening these a coding to specs and then re-test the trigger.

Just checked and the snug-down screws are as hand tight as I can get them using the supplied 1/16" allen key. The instructions don't call for a torque spec but only, "not to over tighten the snug-down screws."

The trigger is still getting tripped but doesn't fire until you take it off safe. I should mention that quite a bit of trigger pressure is involved (way beyond normal). I only noticed this when I took a new person shooting and they attempted to fire the gun with the safety on. When he flipped the safety off, the gun went bang without his finger on the trigger.

I agree. I just installed mine and shot about 200 rds. This has completely changed my le6920 from a bulky heavy pull trigger to a nice light crisp release. Highly recommended upgrade.

For a complete noob with rifle assembly it took me 10minutes to install with the instructions. Very easy, make sure to read every word. The snug-down screws I tightened until I felt like I would have to really put effort to get tighter.
