Trigger upgrade options for a Colt Series 80

I just got a Colt MK IV Series 80. Had an older Delta Elite before that had a heavy, but clean, trigger pull. This one is over 6lbs and creepy.

Anyone have any recommendations how to clean the trigger up? I see Series 80 plunger safety upgrade kits, Series 70 conversion shims, and even just gutting it and sticking washers in.
