Triggertech bolt release

I recently picked up a Triggertech Special for my 700. I am having troubles with the bolt release. I have tried to follow the instructions but can only get it to work half the time.

Any hints?

I had the same issue with one of mine, I bent the tab on the trigger pack with needle nose pliers to get it to seat in the notch on the arm for the bolt release a little better. Never been an issue since.

I have bent it to the spot it shows in the instructions. But it looks like it needs to be bent forward. There is a gap

Clear the stock area with a drumel or file.

If you bend it to the tab as shown in the instructions it should work fine. Is your spring and tab installed properly?Does it work when not in the stock?

Took a lot of playing around. Finally got it. Had to lubricant where the release slides on the trigger.

POS REM BOLT STOP. I here the stories about lost bolts on hunting rifles and how does Remington solve the problem ? The lock the bolt down on safe instead of solving the stick bolt stop issue .Cheezy spring.
