Trijican accupoint on an M4?

Trijicon BTW.

Some of the Accu-Points are okay, but they don't offer a lot than you cannot get in other scopes.

No BDC in the reticle so I'm not a fan.

I dumped my ACOG TA31F for an Accupoint 1.25-4 and have never looked back. It's like an Aimpoint and ACOG all in one scope.

No batteries and an incredibly bright reticle. This scope does it all.

KevinB is right it has no BDC. But neither does an Aimpont or Eotech. This optic has much better eye relief than my old ACOG too.

Reticle in normal light (it is 100% crisp, my bad photography makes it look fuzzy):

Since there's no BDC or target turrets, the Accupoint seems to be more along the lines of a RDS with magnifier rather than a substitute to an ACOG.

Bingo. :D

And if I am using a RDS, its usually on a smaller gun, that if nec. I can add the Magnifier -- not that I want it permanently mounted.

If I wanted it permanently mounted, I would have a BCD reticle, a la ACOG, or a Short Dot, Leupold CQBSS etc with a BCD turret and some sort of ranging reticle.

The TR24G is alot more than a RDS, the chevron itself gives you alot of information about distance and target size that you dont get from a Aimpoint dot.

I will have to find my manual for specific chevron dimensions as I think they are all different.

I think its the perfect sight from 0-200 yards, has everything you need for these distances, awsome battery life :) , very nice clear glass, its really a bargain especially if you score one down in the states.

Running animals/zombies would be in serious trouble coming up against a TR24G :)

If you absolutely need a BDC then the Accupoint isn't for you. I thought I would use it on my ACOG but I never did.

All my shooting is on the one-way-range and I never shot over 300 yards with it. Therefore the BDC is a moot point for me.

I really love the extra eye relief the Accupoint provides vs the ACOG.

Also I never have to think about battery life with the Accupoint.

I won't lose my optic in an EMP blast either. :p;):runaway:
