I'm looking at getting a Trijicon 5-20x50 scope, but was wondering how the glass compares to say a Leupold or other $800-$1000 scope with the same magnification but obviously without the tritium.
Or if anybody has experience with this scope I would appreciate it.
 
I have a trijicon tr24g, and I would rate the glass in the same league as my Leupold vxIII. However, it's only 4x, so higher mags may show some difference.

Either way, trijicon glass is very good. I've never heard any complaints!

Can't say how it compares to Leupold, but it was every bit as good as my Zeiss. Very nice glass...
 
This means that buddy reads a lot of rifle specs and is only interested in scopes that are used for 1000 yard shooting. FS

Hardly, but nice attempt at wit... he is asking about a 5-20 tactical scope afterall.

Anyways, they are supposed to be quality glass. You might also want to look at the Sightron S3 line up for about the same price.
