Trijicon M14/M1A mount

Anyone have one? or is currently using one? Looking for an opinion on whether it is better than say the SEI mount?

At $375 it's not cheap.

I got one a month or so back, and very happy with it. Have put a couple hundred rounds through it with zero movement and perfect for eye relief with the acog.

Yep, .308 TA11E with red chevron.

I guess I should have posted on the EBR forum? Anyway what do you think of the Trijicon 5X5.5? How does the Trijicon mount compare to the SEI or the GDI?

The TA11E is a 3.5 model, ( http://www.trijicon.com/user/parts/products1.cfm?PartID=150&back_row=3&categoryID=3 ).

I dont have a sei mount, but they appear to be similar.

As far as GDI mount, it is very solid and as had zero movement, it also allows the use of irons through it with the scope mounted.

Any difficulty mounting on the Norc receiver, I remember that the geometry on the M1A receiver is different than the M14?, that said is the Norc closer to the M14?

Sorry cannot comment on the norc, i mounted mine onto a USGI TRW M14 with no problems. I guess if the Norcino is as close to the usgi m14 then you will have no problems.
