The people who own them or have used them... Are they worth the $1200 dollar price tag? I don't know the specific model, I'm talking about the 4X ACOG.

Quick answer is Yes
They are basically impossible to destroy. If you want a fixed optic (3.5 or 4x), nothing come close to it. Not too heavy either. I really like the killflash too.

There are often some good deal on the EE on them.
