Anyone have an experience with this sight? Looking for their 4 moa version. They list for $350ish stateside. The RMR looks better but its over $500. Curious on how much recoil they can handle. Wonder if there is any Canadian dealers too. Thanks

I wouldn't be too worried about trijicon's being able to handle recoil, they have done a little research on the subject. Check with site sponsor TSE in Calgary, have seen a lot of trijicon products there. The RMR is a great little optic, fantastic in fact. you should be able to find one for just over $400.

Its a rebranded Dr optic, great sights. I have the newest Docter optic coming, it has a new magnetic switch with 3 brightness levels.

In what universe, precisely?

Which red dot are you talking about?

LED RMR? Nice, compact, strong (VERY difficult to actually damage the glass, housing is designed to absorb impact without transferring energy to the window). But it's kind of pricey at $600+. Window is also pretty small, can make finding the dot in odd positions harder/slower.

Fibre/Tritium RMR is less expensive than the LED RMR's ($500ish), but only comes in amber, and has a much larger dot size (7++). Fibre optic is nice too.

Tripower? Battery, tritium AND fibre optic. Fibre optic cover is kind of a pain in the ass to use effectively, makes shooting in very bright areas difficult. Chevron is superior as an aiming point to just a dot. It's freakin' $900 or so, without mount.
