Here is my situation. I am a new reloader making up some 30/30 loads for my nephews to be used in their Winchester model 94's. I purchased some 1F 30/30 brass. I suspect the brass might have been more than 1F but I do not know this for sure. My Sierra manual shows a brass cartridge length of 2.039 and a trim length of 2.029. After FL sizing and polishing, I measured a random sample of the brass and got an average of 2.033 which is more than the trim to length but under the cartridge length. Only one piece of brass was over the 2.039 at 2.042. Can I reload this prepared 2.033 brass without trimming back to 2.029? Needless to say, I do not currently own a trimmer. Thanks for any advice.
