is there a way to tell the proper trim lengths for your diffrent guns or do you just follow the book
Im just thinking that every gun has a little bit diffrent chamber for seating bullets so they must have a diffrence in length of cases they will accept
thanx Daniel

Daniel; While some chambers are cut slightly longer to the end of the case than others, it is a non-issue because the only real way to measure it would be with a chamber cast. Best idea is to trim .010" shorter than max case length except for pistol cases that headspace on the mouth of the case [like 45 ACP] Regards, Eagleye.

The norm is to take the standard cartridge length. This is an industry sammi spec and trim to a length .010" shorter. From that point what becomes important is that their all done the same
