Trimmer cases too short

Brain fart yesterday evening. Trimmed 50 222 Rem brass 10 thou shorter than trim length, I'm sure safety is no issue but wondering about accuracy? Your thoughts?

I don't think it will make a difference, just make your OAL correct and everything should be fine.

No problem just keep them together to see if there is any difference in accuracy to the max trim length rec I think not

Being 10 thousand under will not make much of a difference if any. Some of the cases I reform to different calibers sometimes come out short. Biggest thing is that they are all the same length.

0.010" short of standard length is no problem for that long necked .222 case.

I think the only time a too short case will matter is if you are crimping them. Some how I doubt you are crimping them, so no worries.

Just shoot them. Chances are you'll never know the difference.

.010" under nominal trim length is right at SAAMI minimum; your cases are still in spec. Trimming a bit short is no big deal.
