Hello All!!

I have been reloading for a number of years, and want to start reloading for 223 Rem for my Soon to arrive AR-15.

I realize that in some instances you can buy 223 very inexpensively (I know this, as I am selling some), and may not be worth reloading. That being said, I have a bunch of componets I would like to use up. Futher, Call it twisted, but I have a very nice (for me) reloading room, I enjoy reloading as much as shooting. Further there is a great satisfaction in being able to taylor a load.

I have about 1100 once fired winchester brass (Thx Chas). They have been tumbled, sorted and culled. As I plan to crimp the 55 grain bullets, I have no issue trimming all those cases once, but the idea of repeatedly doing is really not that appealing.

I have stumbled across the RCBS X-Die, and was wondering if any one had used them before, and how well they work.

Further, I am also contemplating getting the Trim Pro® 3-Way Cutter to speed things up.

Any an all comments from those with expericne with the above would be appreciated.

Regards and all the best

R

I can't comment on the X-Die but I can say the 3-way cutter is the best thing to hit the market since sliced bread!
I can honestly say I have cut my brass prep time in half using it. :D

i,ve used the 3 way cutter also.....it takes a few try,s to set up....
but once you,ve used it ...you will be hooked;) ..how can you beat a resize the lenght, and debur inside and out with a few easy turns;) ..

I just spent the afternoon prepping a boat load of brass and I want a 3-way cutter.
Do you just buy one 3-way cutter and seperate pilots/chamfers for each caliber or do you have to buy a 3-way cutter for each caliber.

Thanks. ZM
