Trimming 30-06 to 62mm

thoughts on trimming me brass to 62mm ?

im using me ol 270 case length gauge which a busted off pin and it trims down to 62mm.....

bit of work initially but it should be ok longevity ?

using them now an workin alright, no major blow back around the neck ? shoots straight haha

With 55,000+ psi on the neck, it will seal tight.

Only downside to an over trimmed neck is that it tends to lead to more throat erosion. Not a problem for a hunter, but an issue to a target shooter who fires 1000+ rounds a year.

Hey Gander, is that So? thanks for this info, Im feeling like I wouldnt ever be a Person to worry about Wearing out a throat ha ha!
but its good to know, for as in case down the future road, would be wise to check throat and act from there.
im using this rifle fairly exclusivley now but i cant see myself shooting more than 3-400 rounds this yr...

a worn out throat.... means a new barrel - id be interested in that in time.
