What is the best trimmer for ease and speed? Im using a Lee one but hate having to buy these length guages to trim each case to spec.
What do you guys reccomend? Im looking at the RCBS and Redding

Cheers!!

I was just wondering the samething, the one that looks best to me is the redding 2400 match trimmer, just because of the micrometer adjustment. I like the look of the redding better because you don't have to change shell holders everytime and the cartridge spins not the cutter. if I am way out here someone let me know. this opinion has only been created by online reviewing

I use one that I mount on my drill press.

It uses collets to hold the case. (They have 4 different collets and will hold most cases)

You adjust your drill press table to correct height using a bit of cut and try, and then you just start cranking out the trimmed cases. Faster than anything else I've used, and if your drill press is in good shape, it should make them consistent.

It's made by Forster.

I use the Lyman Power Trimmer, fast and accurate. Has a little high speed dealy for cleaning primer pockets too. Very happy with it. :)

I have one and really like it. It's my first tho, so I have no basis for comparison with others. Quick and easy to use - just remember to get the *other* cutter head if you're doing .20 (ie, .204) or .17 cases.
